
Using whitelists and blacklists:A whitelist is a list of email addresses from which you always wish to receive messages, regardless of content. A blacklist is a list of email addresses from which you never wish to receive messages. To set this up, send an email to the address spamhunter@lakeforest.eduIn the body of the email, include one or more of the following lines: WHITELIST: email address e.g. WHITELIST: mom@aol.com BLACKLIST: email address e.g. BLACKLIST: ex-spouse@yahoo.com Punctuation is important. The colon after WHITELIST or BLACKLIST must be there. Check the contents of your lists by sending an email to spamhunter and including this in the body: REVIEW Remove any address from your whitelist or blacklist by sending an email to spamhunter and including one or more of these commands: UNWHITELIST: email address you wish to remove from whitelist UNBLACKLIST: email address you wish to remove from blacklist After you send any of these commands to spamhunter, you will receive a confirmation message back. You must return the confirmation message without altering it in any way (just use "reply" and "send").
