ILLiad

Use ILLiad to:

Request articles from other libraries

Request books and media not available in the I-Share catalog

Check the status of your article and non-I-Share book and media requests

There is no limit on the total number of requests made using ILLiad (although no more than six requests per user will be processed daily), but patrons should note that ILLiad requests are time- and resource-intensive.

Copyright restrictions allow only one article per journal issue per year without paying fees.

Allow 1-3 weeks for your request to arrive, although articles received electronically may take only a day or two.

Books will be held for pick-up at the Circulation desk.

Textbooks may not be requested via ILLiad.

Requests for media are often difficult to fill. It may be more expedient and less costly for faculty to request items through their public libraries

Please note that non I-Share requests for recreational reading/viewing/listening cannot always be satisfied and will take lower priority than requests for material for research and scholarship.

Please note: Students in off-campus programs at other colleges and universities should use the library at the institutions they are visiting for their Interlibrary Loan needs.  We may be able to accommodate certain requests on a case-by-case basis.  Please refer any questions to Susan Cloud, Coordinator of Interlibrary Loan.
