• As a Lake Forest College student, interlibrary loan is provided at no charge to you to request any journal article to which the College does not subscribe.Visiting another library is only necessary if you do not have 1 - 3 weeks to wait for an interlibrary loan request to arrive.

Do all online research before going to Rosalind Franklin University (Finch)

• Donnelley Library Reference Desk has a list of the journals available at Rosalind Franklin University (Finch), or you may search their Serials Database before you go.
• Be sure the journal is available in print at Rosalind Franklin, and not just online, or you will not be able to access it.

Getting to Rosalind Franklin University
  1. Check the Library's hours online or by phone: (847) 578-3000 x3650
  2. From the Campus, head West on Deerpath for 1 mile to Greenbay Road (first stop light past town).
  3. Turning right onto Greenbay, head North for 4 miles (cross 176 at 3 miles).
  4. Turn left into Finch University of Health Sciences, Chicago Medical School.

At Rosalind Franklin (Boxer University Library)
  1. After 5pm or on weekends, enter the North entrance. The security guard will buzz you in, after which you will need to sign using Lake Forest College as your "designation."
  2. Entering at the North entrance, a copy card from the machine is to your right. You will need to buy a copy card for 1 dollar, which includes 8 copies; 17 copies per dollar thereafter. This amount is subject to change.
  3. Go up the stairs to the left of the security guard, then straight ahead to the library.
  4. Journals are straight ahead, to your left.
